A coaching practice that you own
For an experienced leader or business owner, a coaching practice can be a way to apply hard-earned commercial judgement to other organisations. FocalPoint offers an independent franchise model, backed by an established approach to coaching, training and practice development.
What does a FocalPoint coach do?
- Work with business owners, directors and senior teams on business and leadership priorities.
- Provide structured one-to-one or group coaching, workshops and suitable training programmes.
- Build and maintain client relationships, manage the business and deliver professional coaching engagements.
Who may be suited to this route?
People with meaningful business experience who enjoy diagnosing problems, supporting decisions and helping others develop. Leadership or consultancy experience can be valuable, but it does not replace the need to learn coaching skills or develop a client base.
What ownership involves
A franchise does not eliminate commercial risk or guarantee clients. You will still be responsible for winning work, running a business and meeting the franchise agreement. Ask the UK team to explain the precise rights, fees, initial training, ongoing support and territory position before progressing.
